Dr. John Bass, associate professor of music and the director of the Mike Curb Institute for Music at ¾ÅÉ«, will be featured on an episode of More Than the Music, an interview-centered chat show that airs on The Heartland Network.
Jason Bishop 's life changed when Professor Tony Lee Garner encouraged him to audition for the ¾ÅÉ« Singers in the 1990s. Fast-forward to today, he is joining the music department as choral director.
The Music Critics Association of North America has announced that the opera 10 Days in a Madhouse is the winner of the 2024 Award for Best New Opera. Music alumna Rene Orth ’07 composed the music for 10 Days.
